The gastronomic event aims to showcase these dairy products in order to preserve their tradition. Kačkavalj, as a long-standing gastronomic brand of Pirot, its surroundings, and Stara Planina, plays a significant role in preserving the culinary heritage of the region. Visitors, in addition to tasting cheese and kačkavalj, can also witness the preparation of authentic dairy specialties.
