GATHERING OF FLUTE PLAYERS OF SERBIA

At the Gathering, flute players compete for the title of the best in the « Golden Frula ». The competition is held in the following categories: traditional frula playing, contemporary frula playing, duets in traditional playing, duets in contemporary playing, young frula players up to 12 years old, young frula players aged 12–16, and young duets. Participants also include cultural and artistic societies, musicians, choirs, orators, and poets. As part of the tradition, an exhibition of old crafts and folk handicrafts is organized, along with the preparation of traditional dishes and more.
