Rock ‘n’ roll is not just sound – it’s a call to rebellion, freedom, and passion. In the heart of Eastern Serbia, the city of Zaječar has hosted this iconic festival for over half a century, proudly bearing the title of the oldest rock festival in Europe. Since 1970, the Guitar Festival (Gitarijada) has become a shrine for young bands and legends of the domestic and global rock scene alike. Each August, the city transforms into a guitar capital, where every riff writes a new page in music history.

High above Zlatibor, a mountain whose name already promises gold, stretches the world’s longest panoramic gondola – a golden thread over 9 kilometers long. The Gold Gondola connects the center of Zlatibor with the Tornik peak, gliding over the tranquil waters of Ribnica Lake. With breathtaking views and a 25-minute ride, this is more than transportation – it is a flying experience of natural magic.

Born to a Serbian family in Smiljan, then part of the Habsburg Monarchy, and raised with the spirit of the Balkans and the vision of the world, Nikola Tesla is the man who lit up the planet. His genius transcended time, and his legacy lives on in the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade – a one-of-a-kind place that safeguards his personal belongings, manuscripts, and urn.
