Henry Moore - The Printmaker

British Council, National Museum in Belgrade, Museum of Vojvodina in Novi Sad and Banca Intesa are pleased to announce a great exhibition dedicated to one of the greatest UK artists of the 20th century – Henry Moore. Almost 60 years after the first Belgrade exhibition of the British sculptor that left a significant mark on the Serbian art scene, the audience will have the opportunity to get to know his work through sculptures and prints in two major Serbian museums.

The exhibition has been supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Provincial Secretariat of Culture and Public Information.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT THE EXHIBITION?

'Henry Moore: The Printmaker' consists of 80 prints, five maquettes and one working model that were created between 1949 and 1983. In addition, the exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with Moore’s work through a set of photos depicting the artist himself, his creative process and some of his works that marked modern art.

The Nation Museum and the Museum of Vojvodina are preparing a rich programme to bring closer the work of one of the greates UK artists to the broadest audience through a series of lectures, workshops and other activities. We will announce these events here on our website.
