• "OPLENAC GRAPE HARVEST FESTIVAL"• "FESTIVAL OF TRADITIONAL FOLK CREATIVITY"

Every year since 1962, in Topola, the economic and tourism event known as the Oplenac Grape Harvest Festival has been held in honor of wine and grapes. At the same time, the Festival of Traditional Folk Creativity takes place, also dedicated to celebrating wine and grapes. In 2012, the Oplenac Grape Harvest Festival was proclaimed the most successful traditional event in Serbia. Thanks to this event, in 2014 Topola was included, through a competition organized by the European Commission, in the network of EDEN (European Destinations of Excellence) in Serbia, in the category of tourism and local tangible cultural heritage. For decades, the Festival of Traditional Folk Creativity has brought together creators of authentic folk art in the categories of singing, dancing, and playing traditional musical instruments.
