"FUTOG CABBAGE FESTIVAL"

Cabbage Festival is aimed at promoting the Futog brand – Futog cabbage, as the most important agricultural produce in Futog. Many people rightfully call Futog the “capital of cabbage”; thanks to this vegetable Futog has become known far beyond the borders of our country. The Meeting of Manufacturers of Traditional Products of Serbia, that is organised within the event is aimed at promoting manufacturers of traditional products, pointing to significance of preservation of old handicrafts and revive the previously famous Futog Fair. The event if traditional and every year the competitions are organised in preparation of dishes made of cabbage and selection of the biggest (heaviest) cabbage with a rich cultural-entertaining programme.
